We are so grateful to Aunt Cindy for inviting us to stay with her. We had a wonderful time and Forrest Jr. is still talking about Aunt Cindy's house. Some of the fun can only be describe in pictures.
The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:8

Back By Popular Demand
Our trip home to California was great and a very much needed break. We really enjoyed all the time we spent with our family and friends. We had a ton of fun in Disneyland. Little Forrest was so happy to finally meet Mickey Mouse and hang out with his cousins, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts & uncles. It was really hard to leave and we are already missing everyone back home.

"Tut-tut, it looks like rain"...and thunder and lightning too.
So I have been told that the weather we are having is pretty normal for the east coast during the summer. We woke up to clear skies, warm weather, and lots of sunshine. I took advantage of what I thought would be our third straight day of sunshine and put Aevery in his stroller and Forrest Jr. and I walked up to the base PX for an ice cream cone, which we planned to eat by the water fountain. Just as we sat down by the fountain black storm clouds began to roll in. In the back of my mind I remember watching a Winnie The Pooh cartoon where Christopher Robbin is carrying around a yellow umbrella and saying "Tut-tut, it looks like rain." Of course it looks like rain we live on Cape Cod. So instead of enjoying our ice cream by the water and then strolling home, we raced for home and arrived at our door step just as the first drops began falling.

Yes, this is summer.

The results of eating ice cream on the run.

The only way to get all the sticky stuff off :) Is there a better way to listen to the thunder than while taking a bubble bath?

Aevery is always happy, rain or shine.

Long walks make little boys sleepy.

Liliana and Forrest. This picture was taken on a sunnier day. They are asking for popsicles, please!

Fathers Day Weekend
We had a fun and relaxing weekend. Didn't get to go outside too much because it was raining, but we enjoyed kicking back at home. I made football pancakes for breakfast on fathers day, little Forrest's favorite. On Monday we took the boys to have their portraits taken. Enjoy the photos.

Daddy and his boys.

Mom and her rascal. We had a picnic inside due to the rain, but it was a lot of fun and curious george was our guest of honor.

"Reunited and it feels so good..."
I have finally reunited with our blog. It feels good to finally get an update on here...and of course some long awaited pictures. We finally got another sunny day here yesterday; so while the guys went paint balling Johanna and I took the kids to our favorite pond. We weren't so lucky today though, we woke up to more rain. I will let you all know when we finally get two nice days in a row here. Needless to say I am missing home and the California sunshine. Can't wait for our trip home in October.
Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, & Aunt Daniel for the packages. Forrest Jr. has been very diligent in doing his disneyland homework. Right now we are stuck on Toy Story 2 and he likes to run around saying "I come in peace."

Weekend fun
We had a great weekend that flew by way to fast. So what did we do this weekend? Our weekend consisted of fun in the sun, a jump house, birthday cake, naps, Bar-B-Que's, and some really good deserts. Sounds like a good three day weekend to me. Now we are just spending our tuesday recovering from all the excitement.

He told me at lunch time today that he is a silly boy and that I am a silly mommy. Well yes little boys who wake up at 5:30 am tend to get pretty silly (if thats the word for it) by afternoon. I am sure going crazy is a better way to describe a mommy that been up since then.

Even missy is recovering from the weekend.

At the request of Grandma here is a picture of Aevery with his eyes open :)

Hotdogs, birthday cake, & friends.
