The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:8

Party Animal & Shopaholic
I would say that from a two year olds perspective this has been a pretty cool weekend. Friday night he got ride the carousel in the mall and stay up late playing with daddy. On Saturday he went to a birthday party for his new friend Cali. Forrest Jr loves birthday parties! We told him the night before that we would be going and it was the first thing he asked about when we he got up next morning. On the way to the party he told us that he was going to the party for cake. He had a blast running around with the kids and eating cake and ice cream. He was so pooped out that he went to bed at 5:30pm! Sunday mornings are always the highlight of his week since he can't wait to get to church and play with his friends. This Sunday morning was even better because we went to Dunkin Doughnuts before church and he had doughnut holes for this first time. So after nap time today Daddy worked on his car and mom was in the mood to go shopping at the outlets. I took little Forrest with me but I wasn't sure how long he would last. After spending some time in the Christmas Tree Shop I really wanted to stop by Carters. As we got in the car and I was debating whether or not to try for one more store, I heard a little voice from the back seat say "I need more stores". Hallelujah! It's what every mother hopes for a little boy who loves to shop. And the extra stop was worth it, the sales were amazing. Good weekend.

Great Weekend, Great Game, and No Toes Were Eaten
We had a great weekend here in sunny Massachusetts. The temperature actually reached 50 degrees. Can you believe it is supposed to snow tomorrow? The weather here is just crazy, but we will enjoy the 50 degrees for as long as it will last.
Forrest turned 25 on Friday and his command is so awesome here, he was given the day off. We started our three day weekend with Cocoa and Biscuits at the birthday boys request. Of course little Forrest was in Heaven when he found out this is what we were having for breakfast. See picture below.
Little Forrest was our comedian this weekend. He is always saying and doing things that crack us up. On Sunday we went to Kmart and his new thing is being able to walk with us instead of riding in a cart...this is very important to a two year old. He was walking in front of us when he hit the toy Isle. He looked back us and said "Come on guys" as he promptly turned down the isle and waved to us to follow as if it was no big deal and he new why he had come to this store in the first place. Then at dinner we had baked potatoes and salad but all Forrest Jr. wanted were strawberry's, so I told him that if he finished his potatoes I would give him some strawberry's. He looked a bit confused, scooted his chair back, pulled up his foot to look at his toes, and then looked at me to see if it is really what I meant. Apparently he only understood the Toes part of the word Potatoes.
