Happy New Year

We had a very special Christmas at home this year. We missed all of our family very much, but enjoyed the opportunity to spend the day at home with our little man this year. We started the morning with opening presents of course and then we had Cocoa and Biscuits for breakfast. If you have ever had them then you know why that was such a treat, if you haven't then you are seriously missing out. The rest of the afternoon was spent playing with toys and waiting, not so patiently, for Daddy to assemble Forrest's new Kitchen Set. We definitely have a little chef on our hands and not a day goes by that Daddy and Mommy don't get hot cocoa made for them. We ended the evening with a trip to the theater to see Marley and Me. It was Forrest Jr's first movie on the big screen and he had a great time eating candy and popcorn.

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma we have plenty of Sour Patch Kids to distribute...we think we found them all. Not an hour goes by that Forrest Jr. doesn't ask for his candy.

We are definitely looking forward to this new year with much anticipation. We are so anxious to welcome our new baby boy into the world and to continue watching Forrest Jr. grow. He is constantly amazing us. Recently he has discovered Mommy's first name. Sometimes I hear him calling me from the other room with a loud "Queta".

Sending our love and best wishes to all our friends and family in the new year.

We didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked to because we were video taping, but here are some of the ones we did get.

Forrest posing in his new tactical vest and paint ball pants.

Little Forrest in his new pajamas. Doesn't he look excited?
