Every women wonders if she is brave. Today I found out that I am. You may wonder why I make this claim about myself. Did LaQueta save a life today? No, but she braved the coldest day of the year to feed her family. Yes, I went out in the 14 degree weather while snow and ice covered the ground to do grocery shopping. I think this California girl is becoming brave, and at 7 months pregnant and with a two year old in two this was no small feat. After grocery shopping my little man and I enjoyed a well deserved lunch date where he could not stop pointing out, quite loudly, that the fluorescent light was going "night night" and "needs to be fixed". Yes, I felt like I was out to lunch with monk.
In other news, DJ Forrest has discovered that his musical ear extends to his fingers. He decided one day that he would try and play silent night and about an hour later he was playing it with both hands...he has never had a piano lesson in his life and can't read music. I married a prodigy! Unfortunately though my husband has no luck when it comes to cars. His beloved Firebird overheated on the way to work today, it was so cold outside last night (-6) that his
water pump cracked; but we are very thankful that it is not something more serious and it is relatively easy to fix. So the firebird will ride again with my handsome husband behind the wheel.

Wow.... 14 degrees! That is crappy weather. We are experiencing unusually warm weather; probably because God likes us more. Anyway, you are so brave! Going out in those kind of horrifically dangerous conditions in your current condition and all... I am proud of you! And glad God likes me better and does not put me through such horrendous trials and punishments!
Love ya!
