"Tut-tut, it looks like rain"...and thunder and lightning too.

So I have been told that the weather we are having is pretty normal for the east coast during the summer. We woke up to clear skies, warm weather, and lots of sunshine. I took advantage of what I thought would be our third straight day of sunshine and put Aevery in his stroller and Forrest Jr. and I walked up to the base PX for an ice cream cone, which we planned to eat by the water fountain. Just as we sat down by the fountain black storm clouds began to roll in. In the back of my mind I remember watching a Winnie The Pooh cartoon where Christopher Robbin is carrying around a yellow umbrella and saying "Tut-tut, it looks like rain." Of course it looks like rain we live on Cape Cod. So instead of enjoying our ice cream by the water and then strolling home, we raced for home and arrived at our door step just as the first drops began falling.

This picture was taken at 3 in the afternoon...looks more like 8pm

Yes, this is summer.

The results of eating ice cream on the run.

The only way to get all the sticky stuff off :) Is there a better way to listen to the thunder than while taking a bubble bath?

Aevery is always happy, rain or shine.

Long walks make little boys sleepy.

Liliana and Forrest. This picture was taken on a sunnier day. They are asking for popsicles, please!

AWWW! I love the pictures! Especially the one of him asking for a Popsicle! Weird weather you're having! It's sunny and bright here! I've spent almost every day either by my pool or at Jami's pool! It's sooo nice! I got a new bathing suit and so now I have three to alternate between and I am in a bathing suit almost everyday! I love it!
Miss you guys! I wish you were still here so we could be laying out by the pool together :D
